Well, that was quick, weekend. You could have stayed a bit longer, you know.
Even though the weekend felt short, I'm proud to say that I was super productive. Which is kind of unlike most weekends, sadly. Anyway, the hubby has been gone for 6 days (gets home today!), so I was able to really clean and organize without feeling bad that I spent my time at home not with him.
I got rid of 2 trunk-fulls of stuff we weren't using. I can now fit all my clothes in my closet, not my closet, plus some in his and some in the office closet. If you know me, you know this is an amazing feat, and no, this closet rod did NOT break this time.
I also worked a TON at Loft this week in order to keep myself occupied. Caught up with a high school/ college friend on Saturday, which was great! Sunday after church, two good friends and I went to a winery for a tasting. AWESOME! For $2, we got 6 samples and a free little wine glass. Best $2 I ever spent.
By the way, I have been listening to this soundtrack all morning, specifically this track, which is coincidentally from my (and probably everyone else's) favorite Beethoven symphony. If you have not seen the movie, stop what you are doing right now and go get it. Great, great movie. Fantastic acting, great music, superb story. Love it.
I got this dress recently. I love it. I want to wear it all the time. Every day. Did I ever mention how much I love our employee discount at Loft?
I also feel like I'm very grown-up today since I had my first iced coffee at Starbucks. I got a free drink for doing a survey, and I wanted to try something I never try. So I got a skinny caramel macchiato. Fairly tasty, but I think I'll stick to my homemade skinny vanilla latte. Much cheaper and still tasty!
How was your weekend? What did you do? Are you as tired of the heat as I am?

To your last question: YES!!!!!!! Super cute dress by the way! I can totally see you wearing it!
Glad we could catch up Saturday!
I totally tried to post this long thing on here yesterday and I guess it didn't post... which makes me very upset :(.
Long story short... starbucks... good. Hot caramel macchiato good too ;). Different than the cold... but good!! Love the dress!! I want to shop. There was a sale at Maurices the other day and I got 3 tops for $6.75 each and they are nice tops that I can wear to work and not feel too bad if they get ruined (hopefully they don't). The Maurices in Fort Wayne (in the mall) sucks... it's all geared toward the teenybops. The one in Valpo and the one here and awesome. Lots of nice business casual tops, skirts and stuff. love it! I was happy.
Yes, tired of the heat.
This is the short version of my post that never posted... sad. lol!
Oh! And I worked all weekend. Basically lived there. lol!
