The ones on the far left are from Ann Taylor, and at a whopping $298, I think I'll go with the other two options, just as cute, from Target. My only fear is that tall boots will make my short legs look shorter. Any ideas? I would also need to get some pants that have skinnier legs, which also don't seem to be super flattering on me. Maybe I'll experiment this weekend.

I have the same problem with boots! I think boots look good on tall people with skinny legs. I am short... and don't have that skinny of legs. So it's just like ahhh, I wish it would work, but I have yet to see it work!
I would say you just have to try on a few different pairs and see what design looks best on you. If you like the straight across cut (left or middle) or the cowboy boot cut (right). Maybe that would make a difference for us short people? Idk, haven't tried it out!
Try leggings with a long shirt/sweater/dress. That might work with instead of jeans. Although I have a pair of skinny jeans and LOVE them- so comfy! Also, boots and skirts is one of my favorite combos. And that little number doesn't make short legs look shorter. I say go for it!!!
So I tried on the Target boots this weekend, and they looked okay, but the calf circumference was WAYYYYY too big. So it's back to the drawing board with these boots again, but at least the style looked pretty decent! Thanks for the tips!
